Jdownloader 2 working impossibly slow
For that four days JDownloader 2 has slowed all the way down and has been downloading 10kb speed. It's not my provider as I'm able to download files directly at normal speed. I've applied all the updates, including the one today, but the downspeed has not returned to normal.
I would like to get back to using JDownloader if the problem is fixed. Thanks |

check https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...-downloadspeed
most likely you've enabled speed limit/pause button , because that's exactly 10kb/s

Hi Jiaz,
Thanks for the reply. No, that button has not be accidentally enabled. I've followed the link you sent to instructions, but can't figure out what the problem is. I'm wondering if it's worth my while to uninstall and reinstall JDownloader Mpg |

10k is the default pause speed mode though, so it does seem suss. either pause mode (speed limit of 10k + no new downloads will start), or speed limit is enabled. Pause mode does present a redline in the speed graphic (top right hand corner)... but you indicate thats not the problem.
Do you use any programs like netlimiter which can rate limit traffic ? raztoki

Hi raztoki
There is a red line in the speed graphic, but the pause button next to the download button is not 'checked'. If it is on pause how can I unpause it? Thanks |

Please read https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...-downloadspeed
Point 1 = Did you enable a speed-limit by mistake in JD? (Speedgraph does show a red line for enabled speed-limit) "Make sure that you did not enable a speed limit by mistake" see Point 2 on https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...mit-pause-mode

you have enabled speed limiter within jd.
right click on the speed graphic and you will get a context menu. or use the main menu > settings > speed limit or bottom right hand corner of the download tab, button spanner X screwdriver > speed limit or tray icon > speed limit

Raztoki,
Thank you! Your instructions were so simple and the fix was easy! I have no idea how I accidentally enabled the speed limit, but I was having trouble figuring out how to fix it. Thanks again, Mog |
