--ID:161TS:1426185530161-12/03/15 14:38:50 - [] -> java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
What Firewall/AV do you have? This is either caused by Firewall/Av or Linksnappy API issues. This error happens when JDownloader tries to check account

Log also contains a lot of "502 Bad Gateway" responses from the linksnappy servers.

For Kaspersky it is important to exclude Java and JDownloader in Settings/Exclude.
Read timeouts are a typical issue caused by Kaspersky.

If I have excluded Java and JD2 from kaspersky, have always so.
This problem I have since 2am today. |

Nothing changed on our site. So its either an issue on Linksnappy or some Firewall/Av updates on your site.
I would say wait and trink tea and see if it resolves itself till tomorrow. If not, I suggest to do a teamviewer session.

It works fine here but if you want you can send your logs to the linksnappy support (not the ID as only we can open these IDs).
Right now and here I dont have any 502 issues with linksnappy but you do.

@pspzockerscene
Can you pm me any of those logs? It could be our DDos protection. Some of our users have reported that they started getting this issue after they updated their jDownloader. |

@DJ7
I sent you parts of the users' log via PM - you can clearly see that your server returns 502 errors on login. However, it doesn't happen to me... @others DJ7 is official Linksnappy support staff. GreeZ psp

It's probably our DDoS protection then. |

@pspzockerscene
It's by Voxility. We probably need to get rid of that if this keeps happening. |

Or disable it for API calls.
You can either use cloudflare (we have support for that) or maybe add the ability for JDownloader to verify itself so it can come through your protection. Of course you have to make sure that possible attackers do not simply emulate JDownloader then...

Yes, that's what we've done. Their support department is certain that they will be able to fine tune the settings for future according to our normal activity. |

Ok nice.
Maybe tell them to simply log whenever JDownloader fails because of the antiDDOS. JDownloader uses "JDownloader" as User-Agent for your service so it should be easy to identify.
