JD2 should remembered the path. Make sure the value of the advanced setting FFmpegSetup: Binary Path is saved.

Check in settings → advanced settings → FFmpegSetup: Binary Path (search it)
In the column value, make sure that JD2 has the path where you have ffmpeg, and check if such path is remembered.

JD uses this command to merge the streams:
FFmpeg command: [/usr/bin/ffmpeg, -i, /home/asif/downloads/in.dashVideo, -i, /home/asif/downloads/in.dashAudio, -map, 0:0, -c:v, copy, -map, 1:0, -c:a, copy, -f, mp4, /home/asif/downloads/out.mp4, -y] Your ffmpeg version says: built on Oct 11 2013 08:39:40 with gcc 4.8.1 *** THIS PROGRAM IS DEPRECATED *** This program is only provided for compatibility and will be removed in a future release. Please use avconv instead. and Unrecognized option 'c:v' Failed to set value 'copy' for option 'c:v' Either you install one of the static FFMpeg builds, or you check out the correct parameters for your ffmpeg version. you can modify the ffmpeg commandline in the advanced options

Mr Coleado....
Ive downloaded the latest build as of Jan 14/2014.....I've updated to the latest static ffmpeg build, given the proper merge location etc...... And I am STILL getting "error has occurred, plugin outdated" on any and youtube videos, plus whenever i goto grab a utube vid it only grabs 720p at best even if I have it set to grab everything. Heres a recent log: 14.01.14 12.29.36to14.01.14 12.31.27 jdlog://5568823439831/ |

ffmpeg-2.0.1-64bit-static.tar.bz2 it works fine. Thanks a ton! ![]() It would be nice if JD offered to download a static build and stored it within it's own application directory to make this a more seamless process. |

Should be remembered by JD2. If not, check if you have enough permissions in the path where you have installed JD2, the same for ffmpeg.

I am not sure if it happens only with some concrete videos or it's general.
I already downloaded ffmpeg some versions ago and it worked fine when needed for downloading youtube videos. Now it's giving some trouble: I select location and it asks for it some minutes later again. when the Youtube download starts an ffmpeg process launches but dies on the next second, then JD asks me again for location. It happened, for example, with this video: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** (1080p mp4). Regards. What happens again with Youtube? I have this list of undownloadable youtube videos from 1 month ago, most of them ARE NOT VEVO videos. Any of the JD2 updates in 3 weeks has fixed this, what happens? All the videos on my list are 720p and 1080p ![]() Most of the Youtube links can't be downloaded in JD, the issue is not only with Vevo videos. http://board.jdownloader.org/showthr...029#post284029 I really can't understand this, I were adding some youtube links from 1 month ago and by the moment can't be downloaded... nobody fixed this by the moment. I'm having trouble using JDownloader 2 to download videos that are "age restricted". When I use the linkgrabber, it comes up, but says the video is "offline" (when it is clearly not... since it's there). Regular videos work fine.
I've seen these threads http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=52925 http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=53643 that say the feature has been implemented. My JD2 updates automatically so I believe it should have the feature, unless I'm missing something. Thanks in advance for the help. |
