Instagram credentials refused
Hi,
when I try to add an Instagram account in JDownloader Account Manager, I get an error telling me I have either wrong name/password or special symbols in the password yet neither is true. I reproduced the issue on: Windows 10 Home 1909 desktop app Raspbian 10 java app running in headless mode via MyJdownloader web UI I attached a log file that I felt is relevant to the issue. Feel free to use the credentials, instagram and gmail accounts were created just for this. |

So I just noticed that the Instagram link crawler stopped working on profile links altogether.
Links to specific posts work as expected including package name being profile name. |

Thanks for the follow up, we will look into it. Is it a public profile?

Hi,
this will need some time ... If the profile you want to add is public, remove eventually existing instagram accounts from JDownloader and try again without - public profiles are working fine here. -psp-

Yeah the profile scraping doesn't work for public profiles either. I have to use link to a specific post.
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** - Doesn't grab anything **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** - Post on the same profile - works as expected Two days ago it worked fine. |

did you remove/disable the login as pspzocker suggested? account login has changed and plugin needs to be revisted for this

I'm not sure why but account-less link grabbing works today. It works with the account enabled (login failed nevertheless) too, so it might have been a mistake on my part.
I'm not sure if it's the same issue, but people working on instaloader.py found a workaround making it possible to send the password unencrypted: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** |

I've implemented the workaround for now - I will leave our ticket open nontheless as I do not expect the workaround to last for a long time but who knows ...
I'll set this thread to solved for now. -psp-
