Folderwatch specify filename
Hello,
I do not know if someone already asked something like that... I would like to rename a file by specifying the name (build from the context of the web where it comes from) in the filename field of the file.crawljob (this works perfectly). My issue comes with the file's extension. I do not know it in advance and I would like to get It from the original filename. To sum up I would like to concatenate a custom filename provided in the crawljob file with the actual file I am downloading extension. Do you have any idea how I could do that? Thanks |

Hi,
you could try to do it by creating a packagizer rule. See Settings --> Packagizer If the URL you add is a direct-URL, this should work. -psp-

Hello,
Thank you for the reply! I should have mentionned that I am using MyJdownloader hosted in a Synology NAS so I am not sure if I can create a packagizer rule or at least I don't know how. |

You will have to do that on a JDownloader with GUI and then copy the config over to your NAS to make it work.
