I noticed when i use jdownloader it didnt keep the original dates from the files on a mega folder. Everything downloaded have new creation/modified dates so that kind of data is lost.
With megasync it respect dates. I prefer using jdownloader as my main downloading solution, is there a way to have files with original dates? Or is a feature who needs to be added first? Not sure if is the right section to post that but i didnt found anything about it before. |

@Tucoco: we will check and add support for it. Do you need both dates or is last modified good enough?

Seems like modified date is the only information sent by mega.nz servers when used by megasync app.
Here are 2 images as example: **External links are only visible to Support Staff**... Having that modified date is very useful for archival and organization. Last edited by Tucoco; 23.02.2025 at 17:27. |

@Tucoco: with next plugin update JDownloader can restore the "last modified date" but ONLY for new/fresh added folder / folder links. Direct links to files (without reference to folder) do not provide any timestamps.

Did i have to activate some setting? because is not working sometimes.
It keep the upload file date but it tend to fail on the modified date sometimes and just give you the date of file created in computer who download it as modified date. Modified date is more valuable because its the real date of the file from the source pc who uploaded it. Last edited by Tucoco; 09.03.2025 at 01:12. |

If it doesn't work for you, provide example links and logs.
Please post your log-ID here If your report is about a specific website which JD supports via plugin, please also provide example URLs which can be used to reproduce the issue you are having. If your report is related to a login specific problem with a plugin supported website, enable debug mode before creating logs, see previously linked instructions. Bitte poste deine Log-ID hier. -psp-

@Tucoco: JDownloader never had and does not have any support for "upload date". And I explained that "last modified" date only works with folder links. I did not find api method that returns this information for single file links. Also could not find support for single files in megasync.
In short: you have to add folder links, then JDownloader can set it But I forgot to mention that you have to enable support for this via Settings->Advanced Settings->GeneralSettings.useoriginallastmodified need to recrawl/readd the folder link.
