JDownloader refuses to start
HI, I'm using JDownloader successfully over two years already, never had a problem. Suddenly I wanted to start it today and got this error message
This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.5.0 which opened this url in the browser: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp. Followed the link and launched the online installer, which asked me that JRE is already installed. I chosen to reinstall. After finishing, I get JDownloader the same error again. There must be something wrong. Btw. I'm not having JRE 1.5.0 but Java SE 7 update 7 (jre-7u7-windows-i586) from Oracle site. I didnot have any problem with JDownloader and older JRE versions any before! What's wrong and how do I make JDownloader working again? Last edited by Jiaz; 31.08.2012 at 11:57. |

remove java from computer, restart and install latest 1.6 release (old jd is not fully 1.7 compatible).

Ohyes, reinstalling JRE 64bit helped. Probably corrupted installation.
Thank you for the advisory. |
