Cool

JRE version 1.6.0_17 32 bits ("**External links are only visible to Support Staff**) is the last version that's compatible with jD. Remove more recent versions.

Hello,

I'm having the same issue as the original poster, although the " no internet connection?" error only occurs in certain hosts sites ( like Zippyshare), in others I am getting a "File not found", even though it works perfectly when I manually copy/paste the link into the browser.

I have reinstalled everything, and added the Java.exe, javaw.exe and Jdownloader.exe into my AV/Firewall as recommended. I don't know what else to do at this point.

OS: Vista 64 bits
I'm running the latest Jdownloader + reinstalled Java to the latest version
AV - NOD32 AntiVirus 4 - Windows Firewall

Here is the Log I took, I hope I did this right.

http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/13756

Thank you, any help would be much appreciated.

Edit: I would like to add that this is a recent issue. I've been using this very helpful program without a problem until today/yesterday. I did change my AV to NODS 2 days ago, before that I was using Webroot, just wanted to mention that here in case this made a difference.

Edit again:

I changed my AV/Firewall app to see if this will fix the problem, ZoneAlarm/Microsoft Security Essential, but I'm not seeing a difference. When I try downloading from the site 4shared.com, I'm always getting the "file not found", even though I can download it from a browser, and for Zippyshare, "No internet connection" OR "plugin error" (out of date) message. I have no problems downloading from Mediafire, Megaupload, Boxnet, rapidshare and so on.

@Jiaz
I didn't test it but their page looks exactly the same as before so we should also implement the settings...

we do not need to add a settings. we must fix plugin that it works correct
if waittime is too long for normal wait then it should be ipwaittime, else normal waittime.
user selected workarounds are not good

@Jiaz:
(I already explained this over 10 times)
Sharingmatrix has a normal waittime 1-2 minutes before the downloads.
After downloading some stuff you get a 10 minute waittime.
You CAN start the downloads after 10 minutes (if you stay in the session, that's the problem) BUT if you reconnect you have the shorter waittime (1-2 minutes) again.
So in this case it works better for the users who can reconnect and for the others it will then be 10 minutes wait, 10 minutes wait, 10 minutes wait till the limit is gone.

This is the same for freakshare.

There is no other way than making a configuration.
If we don't have a configuration eigher the people with reconnect do always have to wait extra long or the others

GreeZ pspzockerscene
EDIT

Well okay seems like we took the bad way for the users who can reconnect.
Have fun waiting 10 minutes

Hey!

Sorry but Your explenation doesn't work for me :( I don't have account, so after downloading file i must wait 10 minutes and JD is counting that 10 minutes before trying to download next file. But after that it starts to do it over and over again - wait 10 minutes, wait 10 minutes and so on...

So there is something wrong, beacause when i do it by hoster www site, after 10 minutes i can download next file without reconecting or doing anything special...

If You could checki it one more time i would be very grateful! Thanks!

I've got exactly the same problem

It a problem with the file host & not Jdownloader

I was going to report until I found this thread.

Trying their website with the file links I'm trying download produces mixed results.

It says the file is not present some of the times then later after multiple retrys it says it is.

I has also repeatedly told me when I try to download a file straight after finishing another that I am still downloading. It's been an hour since my last download finished and I'm still locked out because apparently I'm already downloading

I'm trying to get 50 files atm & not going to be easy is it?

Angry

I don't know why this thread is marked solved. The problem seems to be that JD is trying again too soon, so perhaps it is obvious to the server that it is not a human. The settings option should be activated so that additional wait time can be added. Otherwise, it just keeps counting down from 10 minutes over and over again...

Also, as an aside, perhaps settings should be available for all hosts by default. It wouldn't make any difference unless the user changed something.

Default FileSonic Premium "Invalid"

1st post please bare with me:
Java 13.2.0
JDownloader - xmas-Version 0.9.580
Mac OS 10.6.4
no firewall or antiviris
Host problem - Filesonic Premium - reports "Invalid"

I can login (to Filesonic) online & download files through my browser with-out problems. I can't use JDownloader to do the same. Reports invalid account "even when I'm logged in on in my browser at the same time". I've reset my account (deleted & renewed in JDownloader). I've reset my router. I've changed my password, deleted & renewed account. checked for updates & restarted both the computer & the application. Nothing has worked (yet).

Default Not working

Been downloading with several other hosts but this seems to be a problem. Jdown says plug-in error out of date. It does download from the explorer. I have tried to update from the program and from jdupdate.jar in jdown folder but things remain the same.

log: http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/16566
link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
windows xp sp3 - java build 1.6.0_22-b04 - jdown ver 0.9.580 - agnitum outpost firewall pro 7 - plugin version 12830.
I use this host without an account. I do not have a proxy.

hope to be of assistance.
thank you.

Filesonic was fixed, wait for the next update.

Thread opened again but please do NOT open any more threads.
Spam in here, i don't mind(ironic) but please just don't open any more threads about this filehost:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::outch:

@jdfanboy
Obviously it was fixed before you posted this, see our Bugtracker.
If you want to use your fix, use it in the SVN but whatever...just wait for the next update!

Is it so hard for you guys to understand that filesonic destroys the plugin by changing their page ?
Just go to their support and tell em to STOP it!

Hi

Interestingly I'm seeing the same thing. I've just executed jdupdate.jar, restarted JDdownloader and my FileSonic file is still flagged as invalid.

everything working now perfectly
strangely enough I did all the "usual" steps to refresh & renew with-out any joy. I had read & followed all prior suggestions... none worked. I did see JD update after the last restart, so I'm still not sure what "was" wrong, but it matters no more as all is good. I only posted after waiting & trying for 2 days to fix problems on my own... I don't like asking for help.... but sometimes I'm over my head. I thank you all for your help on this matter, I was very frustrated (still with Filesonic), their "change-over" is a mess...

thanks again

No apologies needed. I think the filesonic.com is just too unstable at the moment.

Note that we all are sometimes overworked or stressed. Pspzockerscene takes Mentos pills and according to him it helps. I looked at your log. LOL thanks to the smileys.

An update... first file I downloaded was alright, at second file it gave me waiting time of 6 days and 22 hours.

I used a tcp/ip sniffer and I couldn't find anything wrong...
<p>Please wait <strong id="countdown">10:00</strong>
var countDownDelay = 600;

And in the log I get:
31 11.08.2010 05:20:15 - INFO [java_downloader] -> Download quota has been reached

In Firefox it works fine, BTW. No quota limit reached!

And another thing, you might want to recode that user agent string to match that of the user's client... be it Windows/IE, Mac/Safari or Whatever/Firefox. Not that it would make a huge impact but your Ubuntu/Firefox agent string is easy to trace and hosters might be able to screw with people from time to time based just on that.

Default Filesonic.com not Reseting time delay properly

Hi,

I have been using this app for some time and love it although I am currently unable to donate due to fixed income.

I think this is the right forum to post this in and I am also not sure if this fits into some of the other filesonic threads here as they are into specific to this problem and seem to be more generic.
If not Admins please feel free to move to appropriate forum and or thread.

The current problem even with updating today is that Jdownloader does not seem to be clearing the Filesonic.com cookies properly or returning info properly.

I know filesonic is going through changes atm supposedly they have things sorted out but I am not sure they are still not working on their systems after the last merger they did.

What is happening is I am getting one file to download with jdownloader and then jdownloader will put up the wait for 6 + days!

I can go to the web site of the file link and it will ask for the regular download as I do not have a premium nor free account with them and it will count down for the 10 minute wait period and then download without a problem.

jdownloader seems to be throwing up a cookie within itself that is then throwing up the six day wait timer. The only way for me to seem to get around this is to stop all downloads for more than an hour and then reset the file and then sometimes the timer cookie has cleared sometimes not.

Another way for me to get around this is to download the individual file from a web browser, move the file into the jdownloader folder and restart so it see the file is already there and then move on to the next file from filesonic. The next file will download and then the same 6+ day timer will reset.

This is very frustrating of course as one can imagine and I will patiently wait for a fix as this is a great program and you all have done a wonderful job over the years of maintaining and updating it.

I have attached a zipped log file for you to look at.

Thanks for your consideration and the ones able to donate are much appreciated also.

hmm interesting the title here says see bug tracker and when looking at the link

http://svn.jdownloader.org/issues/show/2186

It shows the status as Rejected

if one looks at http://svn.jdownloader.org/projects/...rom=2010-08-09
One will see that it was
Updated by jiaz 2 days ago
• Status changed from New to Rejected
• % Done changed from 0 to 100

So is this now a non issue or did someone set it improperly?

I'm hoping to see this get fixed not Rejected without an understandable reason.

:confused: OK Slight adjustment to previous commented problem.

It seems I had to wait closer to three hours and had downloaded the one file from the web hosting site and added it to the the folder in the jdownloaders folder. I then stopped jdownloader rechecked for updates (there where none of course (too soon probably as I know you are all swamped). then I restarted jdownloader.

Jdownloader then saw the files in the folder where already downloaded and intact and moved to the next set. Jdownloader started to download the first file just fine but, when it got to the second file in the set it again threw the 6+ day wait timer up.

I'm attaching another Zip file with a fresher log and with two screenshots of the first file downloading fine and the next shot showing the timer set for 6+ days on the second file.

Hope this clarifies a bit better and helps those doing the hard work on fixing problems.

Thanks again for your consideration and hopefully this will be put back into bugtacker with a new bug description or the old one will get reinstated maybe.

Hey i found out whats the main problem for jd not working with filesonic free:

it really IS the time difference of jd and the filesonic website... the sites downloadcounter runs for 10 minutes... well at least that what it shows us... actually these 10 minutes take approx. 10 AND A HALF MINUTE FOR THE FILESONIC SERVER!
(i dont know in which time-zone they live atm...)

because i have over 400 ( old sharingmatrix ) now filesonic-links i really have no patience waiting for the next update... i waited 3 updates so far and still jd wants to wait 6 days and 23hours between files...

so i downloaded the source and found whats the problem there...
in FileSonicCom.java
at public void handleFree(DownloadLink downloadLink)

Code:
            /*
             * we have to wait a little longer than needed cause its not exactly
             * the same time
             */
           if (Long.parseLong(countDownDelay) > 300) throw new PluginException(LinkStatus.ERROR_IP_BLOCKED, Long.parseLong(countDownDelay + 120) * 1000l);
           this.sleep(countDownDelay, downloadLink);
it seems someone already tried to fix it - BUT FAILED...
whoever it was added the extra wait time ("+ 120") to the PluginException...
BUT FORGOT to add it to the actual WAITING TIME....

changing it just like this:
Code:
           this.sleep((countDownDelay +60), downloadLink);
(note: i changed the 120 to 60 secs which works flawlessly...)

completely fixes the filesonic-plugin!
whit btw makes filesonic a pretty good host atm... 10min wait time between downloads no matter of the filesize... nice...

i know this is probably the wrong place for this (at least i havent seen anyone else posting source code here) but i just want to offer anyone waiting impatiently a quick solution (well yes you have to get the sources from cvs first... but who cares...)

Edit: Well apparently they are working on the site right now...
now the regexp for "countDownDelay" stopped working... they changed their html-code...
as a workaround i currently ignore any website countdown and just alwas let
Code:
        this.sleep(660000, downloadLink);
its a quick and uqly hack - but at least my jd gets the files... AND you devs get an idea where to look for corrections....
