Default Any Way to Add Original Upload Date to Files?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to download an entire YouTube Channel, and I would like to be able to sort the downloaded files by the date they were originally uploaded to YouTube.

Is there any way to add this information to the files using JDownloader 2? Either by making the "date created" or "date modified" show the original upload date, or by adding the upload date to the beginning of the file name?

you can use entry <jd:indexof> wildcard via the package customiser OR settings > plugins > youtube >> filename && *VIDEONUMBER* or *VIDEONUMBER[000]*, though note if you add links later outside of a complete channel decrypt it wont have the correct index, so I personally recommend the date wildcard *DATE_TIME[yyyyMMdd]* or *DATE[yyyyMMdd]*
it wont always mean in complete order if multiple videos are uploaded on the same day. youtube used to have precise timestamp but that api closed and only information now is just day stamp.

Yes, your second suggestion of using " *DATE[yyyyMMdd]* " seems like what I want to do. Where exactly do I add that? Is it in Settings>Packagizer>Add>Then Set>Filename?

Thank you! I found it and was able to add it. I also removed the part at the end since I don't need the Video Quality in the title. Everything is now working exactly how I want! Thanks again!
