You can setup Proxies in Settings-Connections, just add the proxy details and move above *no proxy* entry. When you're using a vpn, you should not have to mess with connection settings as a normal vpn will/should redirect all traffic by default.

Ah, then add proxy and there is edit button and make it whitelist to nitroflare.com
only
and in *no-proxy* set to blacklist and add nitroflare.com
Then JDownloader will use proxy only for nitroflare

1.) Go to Settings-Connection Manager
2.) Click on Add
2.1.) Select Type (eg HTTP or SOCKS5)
2.2.) enter Host/Port and if required username/password
2.3.) click ok
3.) move new proxy entry above *No Proxy* by clicking on the green arrows
4.) edit in filter column on your *new proxy*
4.1.) set to whitelist, nitroflare.com
5.) edit in filter column on *no proxy*
5.1.) set to blacklist, nitroflare.com
6.) finished
