Help, startup error on JDownloader2
A few hours ago I started to get the startup error so I searched for a solution in the board and found that it was caused by an error in the update so I downloaded the Jdownloader.jar and ran it, all seems to be working but I still keep getting the startup error when I run the .exe, also is there a way to recover my download list?
This is the error: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.jdownloader.update.launcher.JDLauncher at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at com.exe4j.runtime.LauncherEngine.launch(Unknown Source) at com.exe4j.runtime.WinLauncher.main(Unknown Source) at com.install4j.runtime.launcher.WinLauncher.main(Unknown Source) |

Did you delete Core.jar and JDownloader.jar and replace with new JDownloader.jar ?

yes, first tried replacing only the JD.jar and then the core.jar but the error its still there.
Edit: Also I Made a copy of the cfg folder, another called 1453489843746_Fri, Jan 22, 2016 16.10 -0300 and a the downloadList278732.zip, can I use them to recover my download list if I do a clean reinstall? If I can where should I place them? Last edited by ennv0; 23.01.2016 at 06:58. |

Delete JDownloader.jar and Core.jar and tmp and the update folder.
Download http://installer.jdownloader.org/JDownloader.jar and place it in your JDownloader folder. You can restore your settings/lists by simply restoring your backup of the cfg folder
