I have an error in JD end time column, How to update timezone database
On the downloads tab in JD, you can choose the columns that you want it to show: Name, Size, Server, Status, Progress, etc.
One of the tabs is the end time, but in my particular case it shows +1 hour. For example, if I finish a download at 8:23 am, it says 9:23 am instead. I believe this has to do with the fact that we had "Daylight Saving Time" for 26 years, but it was removed in our country months ago, so this April 2nd we no longer had to forward time 1 hour. Some smartphones with automatic time confused people in my country because they still forwarded 1 hour, while some other phones and windows knew that they no longer had to do that. Note: Windows launched an update to fix this, and apparently new time zone were created for some states or regions. Is there a way I could fix this? |

Yes Java uses own time zone mapping data and therefore must be updated in case time zone changes do affect you.
Can you provide a screenshot of your about dialog, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...tion-directory That way I know which java version your JDownloader is running on, so I can tell you how to update it to newer version that may include updated timezone data. Where are you from? so I can check java version changelogs which version includes the updated time zone data file. |

@HLX: I found this github.com/jeremywall/java-tzdb-builder/tree/main/releases/latest
you can download the .dat file and replace /lib/tzdb.dat file in the bundled Java (java or jre) folder within your JDownloader directory |

You also asked me where I'm from. I'm from México, close to Texas. Do you think I should also report this somewhere else so it could be fixed for other people or in future releases? |
