Is there an option in advanced settings to set or prevent automatic filename changes globally?

I have been encountering instances where some files with somewhat long filenames are shortened upon download on certain hosters such as clicknupload, fastclick.to, mixloads.com and others where as the same file on rapidgator, uploaded, drop.download won't do that. It usually only happens when the filename contains a lot of short 2-4 letter words and it has been a minor issue that has annoyed me.

having been using JD for many years, while this issue is rare, there have been times where certain downloads will have the filename altered upon download start and is has always annoyed me that JD even does/allows it to happen

Settings -> Packagizer -> Add:

Condition:
Downloadurl -> Contains -> *
...then set
Filename: <jd:orgfilename>

No. Also there is no such thing as "automatic filename changes".
In this case the correct filename gets set in our crawler plugin but not as a permanent filename.
The host plugin will then set the filename again which is usually the same as before thus you can't see that "change".
This happens because you can also add single file URLs which do not have crawler-preset-filenames but sure you also want to have nice filenames for them

Please provide example links and logs for each individual case.
In some instances plugins will first set filenames they find inside HTML code but will then later set the filename provided via header which is exactly like your browser would do it but sure in some cases the first/second filename is the "better" one.
