Sorry if I'm not supposed to bump this, but the ticket's a year old so I'm wondering if it's been forgotten. Just want to chime in to say that I'd be grateful for a fix to this, too.

It hasn't been forgotten but:
- There was no time for it
- The website tries to actively block downloadmanagers like JD thus it has become harder to fix this plugin

You can use this download method in the meanwhile.

Thanks. But that download method doesn't work for me. After adding the URL to JDownloader, the link immediately shows as being offline, no matter how quickly I add it to JDownloader after starting playback of the video in the browser. I tried this with several videos including the one posted by anet earlier in the thread.

You are right.
Seems like they have some measurements in place against downloading.
Now the only thing you could do as a workaround would be to use a screen recording software.
