Less wait time between downloads. Speed is extremely variable, so hard to tell.

What waiting time exactly do you mean? the few seconds or the hour limit?

The 2 hour limit. I tested on my side and it also eliminated the captcha...

sorry for the late response.

I've tested it and I was unable to find any advantages using this Referer.
Speed in free mode was always around 100 KB/s, captcha was always required and "hourly wait time" was always present after one download.

I just tested it on my end with a browser. Yes, things changed in the 2+ years since I requested it, but it's still valid.

Without referrer, it is a 2-hour wait.
With referrer, it is a 1-hour wait. So there is a difference.
Of course, RG doesn't put the actual wait time on the page (it shows 120 minutes whether you've waited one minute or 119 minutes). But if I attempt a new download 61 minutes after the first WITH the referrer it allows it, without the referrer it has the "you must wait..." message.

I've changed the waittime to 1 hour for all users with the last update.
Please check if JD will retry and then wait another hour.

If so, I can add Referer handling for Rapidgator if you want.

Nevermind I've just added support for custom Referer.
Please keep in mind that in case it removes the captcha in free mode, JD will still request a captcha as our plugin is not yet able to detect that.
If you are ever able to reproduce "free no captcha" with a custom Referer, please let us know.

Yeah, the "no captcha" went away when RG switched from SolveMedia to RCv2. So that wasn't valid anymore. But thank you.

For quite awhile now in Jdownloader2, under Settings --> Plugins --> Rapidgator, into the "Define Customer Referrer" field I have a PlanetSuzy page entered that contains a Rapidgator link, and as a result I could download more than five files a day, with a max 45 minute wait between downloads. However, lately (over the last couple of months or so), I'm finding that it's back to the Draconian three downloads a day total (if I'm lucky) that I used to have before using the Planetsuzy Referer. Did I miss a change with regard to this, where the Planetsuzy Referer thing does not work anymore?

We didn't change anything so if at all, this was a serverside change.

Also this isn't surprising to me as you guys posted that information publicly in our supportforum which gets a lot of hits so maybe Rapidgator eventually noticed- and removed the mentioned free user advantages.
