Default [NOT a JD bug] How do I get rid of this pop-up window?

How do I get rid of this window? It pops up as a window in Firefox everytime I try to download something in my browser. On my other computer that has JDownloader, it doesn't occur.

There must be a setting to disable it somewhere.

Like I said, it doesn't happen on my other computer with JDownloader. I don't always want JDownloader to download something. Sometimes I use the browser for downloads.

Any help would be most appreciated, thank you.

On a related note, I also notice I can't see the linked image I posted in the question I asked up above. I had to switch to a bare imgur link.

Nor do I have permission to look at the .png file I attached to it. Is there a problem with my account here in the forum?

The forum permission is setup in that way to prevent leaks of personal information. In the past people have uploaded logs and even images of info which would breach eu modern privacy laws. It was easier to just make it staff only vs going through hundreds of thousands of post to audit. Unfortunately permissions are not that advanced that you can allow owner to view their own attachments, go figure. Some hosts/domains are whitelisted so everyone can publicly view those urls or images.

Please wait for the team to respond to original post. Note: typically they do not work over the weekends.

Ah, I didn't know that. Good to know.

Hmm tbh I've never seen that popup.
Which browser extensions are installed in your Firefox?

I thought it may have something to do with the Firefox MyJDownloader Browser Extension or some setting that goes with that. It seems to mention you all on that page.

Please provide a list or screenshot of all other currently installed browser extensions.
Do you have the un-official extension "Download with JDownloader" installed?

Since we've also had a private support ticket about this popup, I now know for sure that this is not caused by our official addon.
It is caused by the Firefox browser addon "Download with JDownloader" which is not developed by us:
addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/download-with-jdownloader/
More references:
1.) by Joe Ertaba -> addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/user/215904/

2.) Project/Developer homepage, webextension.org/listing/download-with.html?from=jdownloader

3.) The project on github, github.com/belaviyo/download-with

Please contact the developer of that addon since we can't help to fix problems with 3rd party software.

You can find our official addons- or software we officially recommend here:

Would any of these cause this?
