Cool

Do you have a dynamic IP address?

Can you reconnect/disconnect/restart/reboot your router by logging in on your router's page in your browser?

Please, document your method/script. Other people with the same router could benefit from it.

Did you enable the automatic reconnect feature?

Can you manually check your IP address when you know for sure the script ran?

Can you change the IP with the "Change IP" button in jD's Reconnection settings?

If the script reboots your router and actually changes your IP, then it's possible jD isn't able to detect the change. In that case increase the "First IP check wait time (sec)" and "Timeout for ip change [sec]" settings in Settings -> Reconnection -> Advanced.

Other questions, because I want to know exactly where you are :-

1) You wrote you've to reboot your router to get a new IP address, but are you sure you have a dynamic IP address? Did you check that your IP address changes?

2) If the answers to 1) are positive, can you actually obtain another IP address with the web interface of your router (without jD)? DO you have a reboot command in that web interface?

3) If the answers to 2) are positive, can jD's recorder save the reconnection script?

4) If the answer to 3) is negative, then allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Also check the permissions of jD's program folder and finally apply the changes as recommended in the last paragraph of my previous post. Your router might take some time to reboot. You can use a chronometer if you want to know the delay.

I'm sorry but I don't use Skype because I don't trust them.

If you can indicate what you don't understand I can try to explain it in more detail. Do you understand point 1?
