I subscribed to a premium account on motherless.com, and I've tried all sorts of things to get the plugin to reflect the premium account.

I think I made a debug log (hope I did it correctly):

26.08.21 01.52.54 <--> 26.08.21 01.12.12 jdlog://9596825302851/

I've tried refreshing the plugin, updating jdownloader, rebooting the computer, adding a rule to remove the free account option for that host, resetting the plugin, deleting and re-adding the account....

I'm out of gas... what's next? I know that jdownloader was pretty quick to reflect premium accounts upgrades with other hosts in the past, so I'm not sure if there's just a longer delay, or if it's just having problems.

The plugin currently doesn't differ between free/premium accounts. We will check/update plugin for it.
what are the advantages of a premium account? do you have example links that do require an account?

I thought the advantages were faster downloading speeds and more simultaneous downloads, but perhaps I just assumed that. I'll have to check in a bit to see whether that's true or not.

It's kinda hard to believe that their premium account would feature no advantages to the free account in this aspect, but perhaps the premium features are solely within the site, itself -- not downloading capacity.

Well from what I can see they claim to give you "faster site browsing" and no ads:

Still though your account already gets used fine at this moment, only the status-text in JD is wrong.

Thank you so much for the swift responses; I apologize that I've taken a little longer to reply to your efforts (which I'm extremely appreciative of).

I can also confirm that I was incorrect. I had assumed that premium would provide additional benefits over a free account with JD2, but that is clearly not the case lol.

I have noticed one issue with the plugin though, which is that if I want to download a whole gallery (pics + vids), I have to copy the link for the vids and then copy the link for the pics separately. It used to be that I could just copy the root directory for a gallery and the linkgrabber would locate all pics and vids in the gallery without issue.

It used to be that if you counted (# of pics) + (# of vids), that the number of links located by the linkgrabber was pretty close to that sum. Now, there might be 700 files in the gallery and the linkgrabber will find 30 links to download...

Not sure what happened, but it would be awesome if you guys could fix this

Additional support for this is not needed?
I guess the only thing it would change for you is that JD would display the correct text inside "Account status".

@dude11: we can try to add proper "account type" detection so the wording is correct or we change it to more generic *account valid* @ pspzockerscene. If you wish account type to show premium, we either need the html or better, send us the logins to support@jdownloader.org

About the crawler issue, most likely the pagination is broken. Please provide some example links and we can check/fix it

Also I wasn't able to find any advantages for premium users over free (account) users other than maybe no ads in browser(?)
