Since my post cant be seen in the sticky. Ill make my own thread.

Im using eweka as usenet provider. Im getting the message of plugins are outdated.

I tried the cookie login method, but unfortunately i cant get it to work.

When i try to login with the cookies jdownloader verifies the account, see below


But when i want to download a file i get the following error...


The steps i tried:

1. remove cookies cache etc.
2. logout login from eweka
3. tried it with both suggested addons
4. disabled vpn

Anyone has the same problem and know the solution?

Can you make it work when manually adding your specific Usenet login credentials via Settings -> Account Manager -> Add -> genericusenet?

In any case:
Please send your eweka.nl login credentials to us via support@jdownloader.org so we can check/fix this.

Please do not expect any new answers on this topic before monday.

with genericusenet it somehow works. What kind of credentials should i send?

@georgesoros: please send the logins for the eweka website, then we can check it
does the usenet password differ from website login password? if so, please send this password as well.
In case eweka has different password for website and usenet server, and this might explain the issue

worked for me also only with genericusenet, but without any login problems.
i dont use ssl, and eweka has a generic serveradress for all types of accounts.

never realized (since today) that jd can handle usenet also

If you want us to fix the plugin handling for this website, we still need login credentials.
Of course you can simply keep using the genericusenet way if you want to.
