Default [DNS block, not a JD bug] Uptobox.com - unable to login

If I go directly to the site, it is up however, they have installed a cloudflare challenge before you can reach the site. Perhaps that is why JD cannot login?

Hi,
Uptobox.com is most likely DNS blocked by your ISP/Internet provider, see
torrentfreak.com/isps-block-uptobox-to-fight-movie-piracy-platform-users-probably-prepared-230516/

Uptobox has also posted an official tweet about it and how to fix it:
twitter.com/Uptobox_com/status/1658074496757104641
It may work in browser because browsers use DOH (DNS over http) and bypass the ISP DNS block.
You will have to setup/change your DNS to use different DNS than your ISP.

Lots of reports about this one, please read the torrentfreak link above!

Important note: if you change your settings to use a different dns server, the changes are not instant as the wrong dns records are still cached by applications, your operating system and even your router.

How to flush those caches google "flush dns cache <your operating system>"

If you change the dns record in your router, restarting it may be the only option. Double-check that the new dns record is still present after restarting your router.

Hope this helps

Is it possible to add support for the new alternative URLs they have added to avoid the DNS block ? uptobox.eu and uptostream.eu ?

Some sites have started to use them and its a pity to replace .eu to .com when pasting them to jDownloader.

Here is an example link : **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

The new domains have been announced here : twitter.com/Uptobox_com/status/1658592236311814145?cxt=HHwWgoCxib62wIQuAAAA

@superboy97
Yes we will soon add support for those domains.
EDIT We've just added support for those domains.

In the meanwhile you can just use any text-editor to change the URLs to older/supported domains.

Exclamation

However, there is a little glitch that apperared.
I changed my DNS to still use uptobox.com, but recently JD gives an "unknown error" on my account
I found that 's because the default server moved in JD prefs to uptobox.eu.
I got my account working again by restoring uptobox.com as default server

Maybe that can help someone else

Hi,
if you've changed your DNS but it keeps failing in JD, you haven't changed it in a correct way.
Instructions about changing your DNS:
