EDIT

Very strange - I'm unable to reproduce this problem here.

@kluczboy: we are unable to reproduce the issue, do you still encounter it? also please check if you have to wait in browser?

I'm having the same issue:
I have created a free account on freedl.ink. I add some links to LinkGrabber. If I have the login enabled in Account Manager, then every freedl.to link I have in Download List results in "Fatal countdown error (countdown error)" when I click Start Downloads. Here is an example link list and a log:

Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
Log:
Code:
14.07.24 15.50.17 <--> 14.07.24 15.51.29 jdlog://9014411370661/
Note that if I disable the login in Account Manager and click Other | Resume on the disabled links (with the "Fatal countdown error" error) then the first few freedl links in Download List will start ok.

Also, in browser the files are downloaded ok (I have to wait 60 sec).

@ambient: Issue is caused by different domain/sites.
there is freedl.ink and frdl.to
frdl.to links, when you click login ,it redirects to freedl.ink
but link doesn't work on freedl.ink

Can you please check what happens in browser?
for me the website seems to be completely broken. cannot upload any file
when trying to login, domain is different but links on other domain doesn't work with alternative domain

My findings:
  • When I login to freedl.ink it doesn't redirect (and I can upload files ok).
  • After login, when I open freedl.to links (such as my examples) in browser:
    • When I am logged in: I have to wait 60sec, then enter a (simple) captcha and click "Download now", and I get working links but of an unrelated domain, e.g. urleecher.com !! ( -see below for link example- ).
If I copy and paste these links back into JD, they are downloaded ok (speed fluctuates, but download always completes ok).
    • When I'm not logged in: there's no 60sec countdown but I'm getting a "Skipped countdown" error! In other words, in this case, the site is broken!

Also, the following is irrelevant but (to avoid opening a new thread) I'm mentioning it here:
I've noticed that these urleecher.com links are displayed as resumable in Download List, but they actually are not: e.g. if I let it start for a bit, e.g. up to 2%, then disable it and immediately resume it (via Other | Resume) then the download always starts from 0%.

So, regarding the freedl.to JD plugin , I think it would be great if possible to make an attempt to fix these "Fatal countdown" errors when not using a login in JD. And I say "if possible" because when logged in is the case when the site works ok (the 60sec countdown is present when not logged in) in then browser.
And that the urleecher.com links should be displayed in JD as non-resumable.

PS. E.g. the first link of my examples results in this urleecher.com link (active for 48 hours):
Code:
(frdl.to)
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
(urleecher.com)

The "urleecher.com" link is handled by our generic "directhttp" plugin so in that case, the resumable-status is not always clear.

I did turn off resume inside our "freedl.ink" now so that will be displayed correctly after the next update.

I only get said error when I'm using an account.
The website-owner seems to have "forgotten" to add the wait time so even in browser, there is no wait time displayed and you can easily send the form without waiting which will trigger the same error.

You should report this problem to the website owner.
Additionally, I've added a simple workaround to JDownloader to force it to wait those 60 seconds even when there is not "visible" wait time.

Good!

Our updates have also been released so by now it should already be working fine for you in JDownloader.

The owners of freedl.ink have fixed the problem so I've removed said workaround.
They've also increased the pre download wait time for free users from 60 seconds to 75 seconds.
