After installing JD2 and adding the download list and other files in cfg from a previous installation, I was used to see the linkgrabber group single files of links I copied in the Various package; not this time 'cause it created a folder with the file name for each link.

Doing this made it work

But I don't remember having that problem (if it really is a problem)before. Is it because of the latest updates?

updates haven't changed it
though copying the entire cfg/ to the new installation should have contained the setting for it.
settings > advanced setting > various
