Hiya!

Couldn't download anything, deleted links and crawled again, couldn't even do that. The plugin used to work 100% without any limits.

You've missed the point here.
These limits were introduced by imagefap.com:

Damned perverts! Always making it tough on regular users!

It's still not working. I crawled 42 galleries and 1666 photos at once, but then it failed to download. The limit had already been passed. What i am doing instead is manually reconnecting by changing my VPN IP. When it hits the limit, i will change again and force downloads on all files.

The captcha doesn't seem to be working at all. I solved the captcha on the browser and refreshed on JD but it didn't changed anything. Shouldn't i be receiving the captcha on JD, or in the browser via JD browser addon?

Yes JD should (depending on your setting [default=yes]) display the captcha.

It that doesn't work, as always, please post another log:

@Beer
I was able to reproduce your issue and you're right - the captcha handling fails.
... but indeed you can work around it by disabling the captcha - JD will then detect the limit and reconnect.
See Settings -> Plugins -> imagefap.com --> Enable the first checkbox

@pspzockerscene

I am using a VPN, so i can't use the reconnect feature. That's why i have been changing IP's manually. Let's hope all is fine at the end of the storm... Tough times. Thank you kindly for the fine support.

@Beer
Sure you can use the reconnect feature with VPNs.
You just have to find/create a script that switches VPNs once JD wants to do a reconnect.
Then just configure that as your reconnect script in JD.

JD does not care about what the executed script does - all it cares about is that your IP changes after script execution.

@Beer: the captcha issue is fixed, should work fine now (you have to disable the checkbox again, see previous post by pspzockerscene)

Default Still happening

I've been getting capchas for the past several weeks whether I'm on or off VPN. The reconnect box seems to solve it briefly but it doesn't take long before it stops downloading.

@dataylorguy: many downloads in list? many concurrent downloads?(max downloads), tried to set lower max downloads value? maybe speed limit.
sounds like you're triggering sort of bot/crawl protection

Default Just a few hundred

and I lowered my chunks and downloads to one each, yet it still hit the rate limit. Not that it matters because they gave me a captcha even when I was manually opening multiple links.

Default Not sure how you couldn't reproduce it

Were you doing anything unique with a vpn? Whenever I load galleries I get the capcha rather quickly, as noted I even lowered it to one chunk each. Loading galleries and right-clicking to save files even triggers the capcha.

Default More info

ooks like the rate limit may have been raised, but I'm still getting a capcha if I try to download a bit. In my example I tried downloading a thousand pics and got the warning about a sixth of the way there.

I've gotten a similar warning when on vpn or off.

@dataylorguy
You can alternatively let JD perform a reconnect to avoid these captchas completely.
See Settings -> plugins -> imagefap.com
Keep in mind that you have to setup your reconnect properly in beforehand in order to make this work.

Thanks for your feedback!
