Rename is different to Rename
When I right click some file (or files) I can see an option (in "Properties") to rename it (or them). That menu option has the F2 key associated to it (as it is shown) but if I press F2 on a file the result is different:
- If I access it from the menu a dialog box shows... allowing me to use regex rules to rename. - If I press F2 the dialog is not shown. It is just a simple rename (similar to using the filename field on the panel). Can you please make the F2 one and the menu-option one... both to make that dialog box to show? If I want a fast way to rename just one file I can use the panel. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
at this moment the F2 menu indeed only works via hotkey whenever multiple items are selected. So you want to have this customizable so e.g. the "RegEx replace menu" will also appear whenever you press F2 on a single item? -psp-

either a bug or design intention. menu editor has option to enable/disable this feature but it doesn't work for packages only file selections.

Yeah I've seen this - seems like a bug.
I've created a ticket for this: -psp-
