Download from redirecting URLs
Hi there,
my JDownloader 2 is not able to dowload stuff from a URL that redirects to another URL with a file. If I put the destination URL in JDownloader it finds the file there, but with the original URL it does not work. Is this a bug or is there a way to change this behaviour to follow redirects? If not, I would suggest this as a new feature. Greetings |

Hi,
please post example URLs. -psp-

This URL for example:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**... It redirects to ImageTwist from which JD can easily download the picture, but with the original link it only fetches a »ads.js« file. |

Hi,
please post it again - our forum software has a small bug which has eaten up that URL... -psp-

That is not a simple redirect.
In between, some "java script magic" happens. You won't be able to make JD grab such URLs without writing some code to do what the browser usually executes automatically when clicking on it... -psp-
