Fileboom.me bans my IP even if I change my IP
This is happening for me even if I change my IP. I just tried it 3x in a row. I shutdown jdownloader 2, I change my IP, I start jdownloader 2, it asks me for a captcha, and when I enter it, fileboom.me immediately says I need to wait 2 hours. If I click on the time in jdownloader 2, it says my IP address is blocked. I haven't been able to download anything for weeks. It always says wait 2 hours.
The third time, instead of starting jdownloader 2, I cleared the cookies in my browser after changing my IP and went to the site directly. I was able to download the file from the webpage without issue. An interesting thing about jdownloader right now is it says I'm downloading something with the icon (it's partially green on the left side), even though I'm not downloading anything. It's almost as if jdownloader is confused/corrupted. Here's an icon showing how it looks: https://imgur.com/a/sPYqc jdownloader says I've got 0k downloading right now though. It's almost as if the program is corrupted or something. I have the latest version. Any help would be appreciated! I'm using windows 10, java version "1.8.0_151", I am using fileboom.me anonymously. Here's my log: 22.02.18 19.16.41 <--> 22.02.18 19.07.22 jdlog://3845454433151/ Last edited by academyoffetishes; 23.02.2018 at 06:11. |

What happens if you turn off "use api" in the fileboom plugin settings?

It's not currently on.

I turned "use api" ON, and it started working again after changing my IP. This may be a coincidence though. It could be because I was downloading a different file from usual. Maybe they somehow know, "whoever is trying to download this file is using up all our bandwidth" or something?

Log shows that JDownloader tried to download in Free mode and got waiting time
Server response was: Please wait 00:59:26 to download this file.

Well, sure, but it was saying that over and over again for weeks without downloading anything. Turning on the API finally fixed it. It downloaded 2 files today.
