Default Jdownloader takes too long to search for the next possible download in the package

I have 20.000 links under a package named "Pack 1". All of download links belong to either host A or host B.

I have use Packagizer to ensure that there are 6 simultaneous downloads at a time, for which 3 simultaneous downloads are from host A and 3 from host B.

In my case, after the first 6 links are downloaded completely, the status column of these 6 links is displayed Starting. It takes Jdownloader almost 2 minutes to search for the next 6 links to download

It is weird to me because the next 6 download links are almost right below the previous ones. As a result, the search should not take that long.

Please help me reduce this waiting time of searching the next download links.

Thank you so much for your help!

Even 6 downloads are complete, why does not Jdownloader start the next 6 ones?

What is Jdownloader waiting for?

We don't recommend that many links within in single package because the *next download* selection *walks* through every other link each time.
Check first one, then check mirror against all 19.999 other links. So basically when the next possible download would be the 3 in list, JDownloader already had checked over 60.000 links.
This happens when you have set max concurrent downloads higher than currently *possible* and then JDownloader *wastes* times by looking for next possible download again and again and again..... setting max downloads to lower value should resolve the issue.

Dear @Jiaz,

I solved the problem by setting Max. simultaneous Downloads: 6 and Max. sim. Downloads per Hoster: 3.
