Probably about the avert directly under windows. I don't notice it since Adblock takes care of it

his issue is about lot of links on the downloading page which is distracting him from downloading the link. This is my understanding although am not sure I got it right.

Hi folks,

I like to hop in GlobeTrotter thread with different Problem and yet Similar ...

Where is the Download Link if you Don't want to use the "Installer".

Q1: Where is the Download Link for the Original 0.9.581 version? & Not the Installer.

Q2: Where is the Download Link for the New Beta 2 version? & Not the Installer.

It should be easier to just have those 2 Links ... Less Confusing!

Thanks,

G!

A1) under other where its always been. Using this method will require thousands of updates after you use the zip.

A2) currently there isn't any. It's always been provided over live updater system either via installer or jar. jar method has been removed to prevent support issues. You need to use installers for JD2, which provides a copy of java, which can be used when system has badly installed java or old java with known problems. The live installer grabs live files off update network. Prevents the need to download outdated offline setup/zip like in stable, then have to do thousands of updates.
