Here's the funny part.

I have a premium HF account. When selecting the link and JD grabs the link, the status comes back as being "offline" (not available) and yet the file IS online and downloadable.

I have deleted the HF account, gotten new IP and reloaded account but still no luck

Any ideas??

Exclamation That is not enough information

Read the Hoster Plugins rules and provide all of the information in one message. You must supply at least three links (to provide for testing), make sure the links work in a bowser, but not in JD, and use the links in generating the log.

To supply a more detailed log, read Posting an Emergency Log in the Self Help Index.

Default Hotfile Problem solved and back again O_o

I have a premium user with hotfile, and using Jdownloader I can't seem to have more than 1 connetion per file. when trying I'm getting:
"Unexpected rangeheader format:null".

Two days ago suddenly I was able to use 5 connection (when trying more I got the same error) but still 5 connection is enough.

and today I tried again and I'm back to 1 connection limit.
Haven't change anything in my computer.
Please help!

Using OSX 10.6.3 no firewall what so ever.

Thanks ^_^

It's better to download several links simultaneously than using multiple connections per file. Increase "Maximum of simultaneous downloads per host" in Settings -> Basics -> Download & Connections -> Download Control.

already did that.

I want to download say 8 files simultaneously with 5 connections each.

(which I already did).

another strage thing, I've notived that I can't pause and resume my files even though I have a premium user...

anybody else has this problem?

Default Maximum Connections Limit

@ Id45,

That message is from the Host, not from JDownloader. It means that Hotfile is not permitting the opening of one or more of the requested connections. Obviously, they have changed the "Maximum chunkload" to 5.

As remi stated, it is better to use a lower number of connections per file and more simultaneous downloads.

Please read General Discussion -> Self Help Index -> Optimizing your number of downloads. It tells you how to determine the optimum number of connections (rarely over 2 if you have multiple downloads).
_______________________________________

In the future, when you have a problem with a host, read the Hoster Plugins rules and supply the requested information. In this case, you should have included your links (that work correctly in a download accelerator, but not in JD) and a complete log that uses the links.

Cool

Restart jD twice to update the plug-in.

If this doesn't solve the issue, you've a problem with your virus/firewall software.

@ jobam,

To check for an antivirus problem, you have to uninstall the antivirus and restart your computer. Even then, the program usually leaves its hooks in your operating system and can interfere with operation (or slow everything down).

Search the avast support website for a "clean" or "uninstall" tool. and run that to remove the antivirus hooks and clean up part of your registry.

@ ALL

Whenever you have a problem with a Host (such as Hotfile), provide the information requested in the Hoster-Plugins rules. At a minimum, provide at least 3 links for testing, and upload a log using those links. The links must work in a browser, but cause a problem in JD.

If the problem is with using Premium, PM your login information (ID and password) to pspzockerscene. This information will only be used to fix the problem. Our developers have never abused this information. We cannot fix the problem and test the plugin without this information.

The Hotfile Premium problem will not be fixed until somebody supplies the required information (links, log, antivirus, and Premium login information).

Default Issues downloading with premium Hotfile account

Hello,

I'm having problems with a hotfile premium account and files that I can no longer download in JDownloader, but can by pasting them into my browser. Below are just three of the links but it's happening with all links I try now. I have been using JDownloader for a few days with Hotfile without any problem.

Test links that work in my browser, but not via JDownloader:

Loglink: http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/23733

My Configuration is Mac OSX 10.6.5
I am not using a software firewall, nor any antivirus software
I have a premium hotfile account, no proxy.
I have a static IP address with my ISP, so it isn't easy for me to refresh/renew my IP.

I am running JDownloader version 0.9.580

I will PM my Hotfile login details direct to pspzockerscene

Default Hotfile woes

Anyone experiencing problems with Hotfile please?
I have a premium account but either I can't get a better download speed than 11 to 13 kb or all links display as having a hoster problem. This has been going on for the last 3 days. Speeds on other hosters are marginally better.

Is there any other user with the same problem. There is no difference between downloading the files with the browser, IDM or JDownload, everyone is likeing slow :(

I have Hotfile premium, not have any problem. My past experience shows this can happen when you ISP has technical problems about reaching specific countries.

The best remedy is to contact HF or stop paying for such slow speeds.

Same here i have a hotfile pre account and i have no problem with 2 mbit connection. But when i tried over the school (which has 64 gbit connection you should see the crazyness with rapidshare 5.5 mbyte/sec over the wireless) it gives me 35 kb/sec.Every country doesnt have the same standarts.I am pretty sure hotfile is great in us or uk but not in here in turkey.

In this screenshot you can see how Hotfile is giving miserable performance whereas Megashares is quite healthy. Maybe it's just these particular servers that are performing badly.

Maybe they are limiting speeds for free users to "force" them to buy premium?
Or maybe they're using rotating speed limits for particular IP ranges.
It's hard do tell, but I've observed that for the last month even the speeds from their 74.120.*.* servers (which for me were the slowest and were the real pain in the a... when the download came from them) improved greatly.
So probably they're improving slowly their servers farms structures, but at least in my case I see the results.

@7leagueboot

You wrote you've a premium account for HF, but I don't see the key-icon for the HF downloads in your screen-shot. Maybe my eyes are bad, but you should check that your HF account is enabled, refreshed, etc.

If this doesn't help, test your account in your browser. Then remove it from jD, restart jD and add it again. Note that special characters in an account password can cause issues with jD.

That's only because the packages were not expanded remi. In this shot you can see the key displayed.

The reason they aren't downloading is because I stopped them. It was taking too long so I gave up.

Bugtracker ticket for the direct links:

GreeZ pspzockerscene
EDIT

Added support for hotfile directlinks, wait for the next update!
Note that technically multiple downloads would be possible with directlinks but this would be hard to realize with our current pluginsystem.
....BUT you can download those directlinks with up to 15 connections per file which is the same as 15 parallel downloads.
