i downloaded the linux version 0.4.936
i made my settings and start to download smthng...
when i restart my computer, my saved settings has gone...

such as, my reconnect scripts, addons, link list, etc...

how did you start it?
try
java -Xmx512m -jar JDownloader.jar

i downloaded the zip file and extracted it
next, i right clicked on jdownloader.jar and clicked start with sun java....
