Question Title Pattern

I was googling for a solution to show download speed in the window title in JD2, just like it is done in JD1. I couldn't find any documentation on this or example strings for the pattern anywhere.

I opened the key "GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings: Title Pattern" in advanced settings and tried out several patterns which include a subset of #SPEED, #TITLE and #UPDATENOTIFY placeholders; none worked.

My aim is to have a title which looks like:

Code:
853 kb/s - JDownloader

I would be better if it notifies me whenever there is an update, just after the speed part. Can you please guide me to do it.

Ok this is my GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings: Title Pattern setting
Code:
|#SPEED/s - ||#TITLE|| - #UPDATENOTIFY|
if you want it enabled at all times there is a secondary setting
GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings: Speed In Window Title
Code:
Always
else speed only shows up when minimised.

BTW I fixed a regular expression pattern discrepancy, which I've just committed so will need a core update (which I don't have rights to invoke).

I should also say that you need to use | at the beginning and end of a given tag, as it delimitates of each tag range and is used to cleanup given tags and formatting when not used. As in no updates = no updates shown, not downloading = no speed shown

Don't fight the system, use it to your advantage. :]

I understand that '|' must be placed before and after each placeholder. But the arbitrary formatting characters between those placeholders confuse me. Does it make a difference where I put the '|' mark? For example, are the all following strings identical?

Code:
|#SPEED/s - ||#TITLE|| - #UPDATENOTIFY|
|#SPEED||/s - #TITLE - ||#UPDATENOTIFY|
|#SPEED/s -|| #TITLE ||- #UPDATENOTIFY|
|#SPEED|/s - |#TITLE| - |#UPDATENOTIFY|

As I think it fits here: It would be nice if an additional placeholder for "number of active downloads" could be added, like old JD1 showed in task bar when minimized.
