Erai-raws hosts anime and recently updated their DDL section. Now, all downloads are token-based, but you don't get the token until you try to access the download link through your browser, at which point that token becomes invalid for JDownloader.

What I am looking for is for JDownloader to support download links from Erai-raws and get the tokenized download and, well, download the file.

Here is an example of a download page from one of their releases:

There is a free download and a premium download. Waiting the 10 seconds (or 5 seconds if you have a free account) will generate a download link, which when clicked will start the download. Entering this link in JDownloader currently just gives you 2 Javascript files, while I am hoping it will give you the actual file to download, much like clicking the link in the browser would.

There shouldn't be a need for a premium account in this case, as free (and even account-less) members can access downloads just fine, just with a wait time and speed limitations.

I tried it out and it works perfectly!

It loops a few times of waiting for 10 seconds before starting, but I imagine that's from using multiple connections to the download?

It should wait about 10 seconds once and then start downloading.
You can re-check this via browser - maybe the number of wait loops depend on country (IP) but I don't think so.

Also check if it works better when not using so many connectios/simultaneous downloads - try with 1 first.

I just tried again today, and this time it only waited once. Not sure what caused it to loop the other day (maybe I just saw it wrong?), though I did add my account this time around, so maybe that's different?

Erai-raws recently changed their DDL section again and switched to a new system. Links are still recognized and it can even "find" the video when copying a download link. However, upon starting a download, it gives an error.

I believe this is due to the account system not working anymore. I believe accounts (which are still free) are now required, and JDownloader2 doesn't recognize the account details anymore due to Erai-raws switching to a whole new system.

Here is an example download link:

I've fixed the availablecheck- and account login and added errorhandling for the case "Account required to download this file" but I was unable to download anything with my free test-account.
I wasn't even able to upload testfiles with my test-account ...
If you find a working way to download from this website, please let me know.

By removing the subdomain, I can see a download page but it redirects me to the mainpage after 10 seconds of pre-download-waittime.

I actually can't even get the account working at all, still. If I enter my account details in JDownloader 2, it just says "Logins wrong". I've double and even triple-checked the username and password

I also made sure I was on the latest version of JDownloader

I can login through the website (using Firefox, if that matters) just fine and even start a download with no problems

I did read the post, and now re-read it, and I presume you're hinting at that the update hasn't been pushed yet? Because the FAQ you linked mentions it'll be available 0-5 minutes after being pushed, and to check whether the update has been pushed. I have no idea how to check what update that is, though. It simply says to "Check against the revision that contains the changes you are waiting for", but... where exactly? If I try to check https://svn.jdownloader.org/ I have no way to sign up, and the login credentials I have for the board don't seem to work there

Anyway, that's a bit of a tangent. My apologies if this just complicates matters. I will shortly send you my account details

The process is described in point 3 of that FAQ.
It shows how you can see your revision and the current released one is linked on the beginning of the article.
Please let me know if that is too hard to understand and I'll try to update that article accordingly.

Okay.

I've tested it another two times with my account and I was still unable to download anything.
After 10 seconds of pre-download-waittime, it just throws me back to their main page even with adblock disabled.

Oh, sorry for the double post, but my previous reply hasn't been approved yet and I found out where some of the confusion came from.

Apparently, the so-called page link is just... broken. No idea why. To get the download (in a browser), you have to navigate to one of the folders, like this one:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Then you should see a list of files. Clicking any should bring you to a download, with a download button to the right that should work. The page link you see there should refer to the current page, but it simply doesn't, for some reason

Hm indeed it is working in the context of that folder.

Also, I cannot see any files in the folder without login but when I'm logged in into my free test-account, I can see all of them.
Is this a bug or is it supposed to be like that?
Also, indeed the download is working in the context of that folder but not when trying to access- and download single files ...

Knowing Erai, I am fairly sure it's supposed to work like that, that only registered users can see files. But I feel the broken page link is possibly a bug.

I also forgot to clarify, not being able to upload anything is also "how it's supposed to work". They simply use this platform to release their anime episodes, so they disabled user uploads.

I honestly don't know how else I can help. I hope you can somehow figure out how to make this work. It's almost aggravating that the link is correctly recognized, but it just fails the download. It's so close! Why does Erai have to make things so complicated?

Also, about this:

Please let me know if that is too hard to understand and I'll try to update that article accordingly.

It completely flew over my head that the current revision is mentioned at the top of the article. Maybe mention at step 4b that the current revision is at the top of the article?

Thanks - I hope I'll find time for this within the current week ...
As said, that may take some hours as they were basically using a template ... but they've modified it now to be completely custom which means what I need to do to implement this will be more a complete rewrite than a "simple bugfix".
