was this for photos?

I just released a little fix for another reported issue and maybe this fixed your issue also. Please provide some feedback and example links if it still fails.

@Mareng
looks like that requires a login. So far I see you have photos decrypted which is a step ahead of me since I don't have account added. It seems to fail in requestFileInfo when it cant find the finallink.

but, usually it always work. I do login with my account even with encrypted photos or albums.

well, of course, the encrypted photos/album can't be downloaded, so jd2 usually always "skipped" the photos/albums that is encrypted (has privacy setting on it) since the photos or album didn't appear on the page

so, is it in progress or my problem is unsolved until I provided my fb account?

well I can't test to see what really went wrong without either access to your account and that link (which is both in logs but I wont add your account without prior permission). Or to reproduce using series of test accounts. Psp is probably best to look into this further as he understands how facebook plugin is meant to work more so than I. The SVN issue ticket exist, and he will find it when he has time.

I see that the Photo download link had changed to:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

And that redirects to normal image link:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Default Facebook.com Download Error

Hello there,

I've been trying to download both single images and albums from Facebook (Helping family back-up pictures) but since about 2/3 weeks ago every time it parses a Facebook link, it finds all the pictures but when downloading says "An Error occured! [Facebook.com]"

I've removed and re-added my facebook account in Jdownloader as well as reinstalled Jdownloader from scratch.

Log: 31.12.15 19.08.01to31.12.15 19.20.12 jdlog://4552154739341/

Example link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Configuration: Jdownloader2 build Sun Dec 27th 22:18:29 CET 2015
Java: 8 update 66
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
AV: AVG Free 2015

Many thanks,
Ben

Turn off the account and try to download.
In some cases it helps.

Mr. raztoki

links "profiles" requires an account (to see photos, albums)
facebook.com/profile.php?id=XXXXXXXXXXXX&fref=st

Probably does not need an account:
facebook.com/username(nick)?fref=st

facebook free (no account) works fine for me, I don't fix facebook issues without a access to facebook account and no one has provided me with one! Thus no fix

@djmakinera

jd will login if account is available, but also continues without account. it will try to decrypt, if it can't find what it needs it will fail. Not much more we can do since you don't know what needs an account and what doesn't as its highly dependant on user profile settings.

Example:

JD2 Unknown / Offline

After logging in - the link is visible only for logged guests.

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Log-in required. Content visible to registered persons.

at jd.controlling.linkchecker.LinkChecker$1.run(LinkChecker.java:364)

Links that previously showed "Not Found" - now download, work fine for me.

When adding a multi-single link to the package. This adds very slowly
(1 link per second)
LinkCheck I must have turned to correctly decrypt the name.

Example single link:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**...

**External links are only visible to Support Staff**... (from my account works in JD2)

Adds a single url photos,
because the groups are not supported yet, so I wanted to get around somehow
https://svn.jdownloader.org/issues/76731

raztoki - so ist es nicht möglich, einzelne Links schnell hinzufügen, ohne die Notwendigkeit, die "Online" zu überprüfen?

Found an issue related to this obselette plugin (outdated plugin).

JD2 did downloading files when there is no fb account logging in. but when there is an account login, the outdated plugin issue occur. but the video files downloaded by JD2, still.

here is another example link.
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

no photos downloaded when any facebook account logged in. but photos downloaded (some, because of "privacy" setting on albums) when no facebook account logged in. but JD2 still downloading any video files, regardless facebook account logged in or not.

"temporary work around"

when scanning link. log in a facebook account.

after link scanning is complete, log out, then download the files.

so far, it is worked for me. but i'm not sure if this would downoaded all the photos as much as the privacy set when u're log in.

but, still, it needs to be fix.

:)

That's true. I temporary unckeck my FB accounts and the plugin start fine.
I tested it with already parsed links, tomorrow I'll test if without any active account the links are parsed or only the public content.

Thanks for the tip.

Be noticed that as I tested:
- You need to have valid facebook accounts to parse the links, albums, etc.
- After parsing is complete, disable the FB plugin and then start downloading the parsed links.

I'm doing in that way some days ago.

Made some changes, Thanks to Mareng for lending me access to his account.
Decrypting task seemed to work ok, just download, due to different html when loggedin.
I've played with images mainly as that's the main test link I was given by Mareng.

If everyone could give me feedback that would be great.

:w00t: ok. now it is work. thanks a lot!!!

-edit-
sadly, now JD2 didn't "detect" pics on albums to folders like it used to be.

do you know what i mean?

JD2 used to "detect" albums as package, so the pics saved by the folder as "detected" in package.

but it is not so impotant. the very big thing is all the pics can be downloaded.

@Mareng

I used your album link given in thread/pm and it works as intended.
if you have albums that you don't think work please provide examples, facebook have so many link types I need to know which fail as I've only changed a couple things in select areas.

it is not an important, but neat features.

it is okay. no need that "each package for each albums for each folder" feature. just want downloading all the photos that can be seen

now so many people request me to downloading all their photos on facebook.

i wonder, when will instagram plugins will be on JD2

Hi People.
To me, with my own albums the update works fine (grabbing with accounts enabled and downloading also enabled)
With public albums that "I Like", it grab fine, but only a few of the links are downloaded (but parsed)

Is there some thing I can test to help?

Thanks!

responded by pm,

Not sure if this is the cause, but I did respond via email along the lines...

please be aware that if you have multiple facebook accounts in account manager, and if you're required to be friends or liked said page to access photo/video. You will need to manually enable (if not enabled already) the required account and disable all other facebook accounts. This is because the account login routines in plugins have no idea which account needs to be used, and is first comes first serve. So with multiple accounts it could use the wrong account, if that makes sense and doing this task manually is the only way to ensure the correct account gets used!

@djmakinera
the forum url management system has bugs in it, and has trashed your provided urls (even to staff) they present as ...

Can you provide them again with logs from session, https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs

if you could create the logs from session that's just that task it would be useful as I rather not look at hundreds of megs of logs.
