Default Error Starting

Brand new installation on this PC. After installation completes I navigate to install folder and try to run Jdownloader2.exe and get an error with the following message "An error occurred while writing 1 bytes to (install directory)" here is the error details. I have tried removing and doing a clean install twice but end up with the same error or a variation that says "Error writing 4 bytes"

We're working on this issue.
Download
mega.nz/#!mctCnIhC!fNqx1UOf06cVB7h9Cis1Kk5J_tAGMTFsSQcuQ2FPfYw
and replace JDownloader.jar with the downloaded one
Delete Core.jar and the tmp and update folders and try again

I deleted the Core.Jar, tmp and update folders and re-installed from the original installer and it works now.

Thanks for your help

No need to reinstall. Just download the given file and replace existing one

Oops. Well I had already done it before downloading the given file. It ended up working by just re-installing again despite me trying that earlier several times.

But everything works now so it is good

Thanks for the feedback! Reinstallation of course also works but requires more time

We've just released the auto fix update
Just wait a few seconds and then hit update button again
