Hi good people, I'd like to quickly rename a batch of files from a URL.
All the files are from the same place, and what I'd like to do is to rename each file as a part of the URL's previous directory. For instance, if the link is: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** I'd like to rename it to 32541.jpg There are about a thousand files. If this is more complicated than it appears, an option where I could define each files name (all at once, not by each file) could work too. Thank you! |

You can use the packagizer (Settings-Packagizer) and create rules that auto rename the files when you add them.I can help creating a rule but need real working example links. You can either post them here or send to support@jdownloader.org

And what should the final filename look like?

4.jpg 5.png 6.png 7.jpg 8.jpg 9.jpg But the links continue and the order isn't strict, so it could be 10, 11, 20312, 24444, 90331, and similar. |
