Which installer did you use for the initial installation?
The new one (= since M1 chipset) or the old one (=before M1 chipset)? Does JD crash after the start without doing anything or does it crash once you start downloading? Does JD only crash if a captcha is needed for downloading? ...or does it only crash when trying to install updates?
