Default Internet disconnects after reaching maximum speed

Good morning,

I have a NUC i3-6100U device. It is designed to download large files.
I download these files with the jDownloader program.
Unfortunately, after reaching the maximum download speed (internet 600 / 100Mb), it crashes the device from the LAN (it looks as if the router is disabling access to the entire LAN, only resetting the network card helps).
I have a computer connected by a cable directly to router.

Thank you in advance for your response.

What OS? What Router?
Check driver and cable. Also some routers have issues with high bandwidth and still answering to DNS requests. It looks like network is down because DNS no longer works reliable.
Can you still ping other devices in network by IP?

Windows 10 64bit PRO
Orange Funbox 6

Cable checked.
The drivers are also correct.

Unfortunately, the ping is not sent/recived to other devices. The network card behaves as if it is disconnected.

Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying that it is jDownloader fault. Because it also happens with other download managers.

Checked what happens when you set a speed limit? eg to 50/80% of your max speed? to test if the high speed or long/high usage is cause of the issue?
Checked for driver updates/downgrade? Tried WLAN (if available) and test if it happens there as well?
Do you have other devices in network(computer, mobile phone)? Do you have to restart NUC or router or both?

Reducing the speed download does not help.
Rather, the problem is top speed.
Installing different versions of the drivers did not help.
Reinstalling the system did not help.

Other devices are working.
Only in NUC it breaks the connection.

This happens after changing the internet connection and router.
Before I had DSL internet 10Mb, now I have optical fiber 600Mb.

Does only the NUC have the issue and network still working (mobile phone)?
or do you have to restart router as well?
can you reproduce the issue with
speed.hetzner.de 10GB file?
You should maybe test a live ubuntu distro, booting from usb and check if the network is stable with it.
Either it is driver or hardware issue. In case it fails with linux as well, most likely hardware issue
Doesn't help to unpglug/plug lan cable again? fully restart of NUC required?

Yes, only the NUC has the problem. All other devices are working.

I admit that I did not disconnect the cable. I will try.
Also will try the idea with Linux.
Many thanks for the suggestions. I'll let you know.

Unfortunately, disconnecting and reconnecting the cable doesn't help.
Only a card reset helps.

In linux ubuntu I have a problem in jdownloader, how to choose the path to save files on a computer in a lan network?

@Martino: for testing, just download to usb drive or you can do speed test without JDownloader in terminal/bash

Quote:
wget speed.hetzner.de/10GB.bin >/dev/null

The given command does download the file to */dev/null* into wide space of nothingness You said the issue isn't connected to JDownloader but high download bandwidth, so you can just download the file outside of JDownloader with wget to increase bandwidth usage

Ok i will test
I wanted to test jdownloader because it's my main download manager, even if the download error does not appear on Linux, how would I save my downloaded files on a computer in the network in jdownloader? In windows, I have no problems with saving files on a computer on the network.

On linux you have to mount the drive first. Mounting = making space/drive/location part of your filesystem so applications can reach them
for example, askubuntu.com/questions/1050460/how-to-mount-smb-share-on-ubuntu-18-04
