Disable vs Skip Download?
In the download list context menu there are two options which (to me) seemingly do the same thing:
I checked the online documentation, but it only mentions Disable, which "skips" the link, so I'm none the wiser from that. https://jdownloader.org/knowledge/wi...k-context-menu So is there any functional/practical difference between these options? The only thing I can think of is that skipped downloads are eventually downloaded when all other downloads are done? I.e. it gets to them on the second round over? |

Yes there is a difference!
To put it simple: Disable is more permanent than a skipped status and the skipped status can also happen as a result of an error ("Too many wrong captchas") while the disabled status is mostly triggered only by the user. Most importantly: If you stop/start downloads, the skipped status will be automatically cleared and such items will be tried again. Disabled items will stay disabled until enabled by the user. (Obviously disabled items will also be _skipped_ as if they're not part of your downloadlist.)

Ah, thank you for explaining it! I guess it could be good to manually skip a download, but I’m not sure I would personally use it then. But then I know to stick with Disable!

Me personally I'm only using Disable/Enable.
