That reminds me i've also tried that but I forgot to mention it. So sadly it did not work :( I've closed my firewalls and my router's configurations are set to no firewalls just to test if it would work :s

If JD says 'Disconnect? Wait xx:xx' it's most likely a bad server with fileserve.
They're experiencing problems with some of their servers. I already experienced the same... 1 file can't be downloaded and all of a sudden it did download. Right now, I have again 1 file from a complete set that appears to be on one of these bad servers. Unfortunatly this one stays offline this time... has been for days now so I hope somewhere soon it does start downloading that part... I contacted FS and someone who works there told me about the bad servers, they're working on it but it seems to be a real pain in the ass for them to get it fixed. On the other hand they say they're making improvements on other parts and also says they're trying to work on stuff to give a better service in the future. For now all I (we) can do is wait... He also told me they started working on the servers about a month ago and it should be fixed in the coming weeks so that's the better news ![]() Last edited by Fo4RaX; 26.03.2011 at 23:17. |

Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software. Your ISP might be blocking/filtering some of your traffic. |

However, it's not just me who experienced cannot download from any files that store on fsdndm.fileserve.com/file/* SERVER I have do google search and find out that lots of users cannot download from the above server, too. The work around is to add "108.61.0.139 fsdndm.fileserve.com" into file "hosts", however, some user finds it works, but lots of users still experience the problem occurs especially for the international users, for me I live in Thailand country. I really don't know how to do now because I have lots of files that need to download, but that problem prevent me from downloading them and I and other users still have no way to fix it, so would you please enlighten me and others to make them working, please. @ kkkzzz,
Please read the Hoster-Plugins rules (there is a link in my signature). Please provide three links that work in a browser, but not in JD. Upload a log showing what JD does with the links.

This isn't fileserve support, but jD support.
If your links work in your browser, but not in jD, please provide the links and a complete and detailed log. |

fileserve is working on servers and thats the cause of those issues.
you can only 1.) wait till they fixed it (finally) 2.) try out to add the missing dns entries in your hosts file

I have added the server in to my hosts file but it doesn't work.
After I added it there was one link that did download the next day at very slow speed like 10kB/sec (I have premium). I guess I was just lucky the server somewhat worked for a while. Now, I have another link from the exact same server and have not been able to download for a week or more. Like Jiaz says, the only thing we can do is wait. They said they're working on it and should be fixed in the coming weeks. Sorry, nothing else we can do. Feel free to send a mail to fileserve support. I have done it but I think the more people will complain the faster they'll try to fix it. A staff member told me they weren't pleased with this problem as well. After all, they have to pay for their server. So when servers aren't working correctly, they're throwing out their money. |

Hello there, thanks for all of your dedication and support. Everything was nice and tidy today, until fileserve after 3 sucessful downloads in a multilink pack, and after waiting the required time for a free user, proceeded to the 4th download and then, it just stayed there, staring at me, no messages or errors shown in the actual current download status. But incidentally, in the whole package status it said 1/31 Active, except it's been several minutes and fileserve doesn't want to do anything. The log link is this: "http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/33785" I took a quick look at the log and there a little part that caught my attention "There seems to be an error. No captcha shown!". Therefore I (perhaps wrongly) have assumed that they changed something in their website and jdownloader doesn't know where to look for the captcha. Maybe it's just a matter of soon-to-be out of date plugin, and just needs a little fix and then Nightly until it gets to Normal Release. Hope to have provided enough info and also hope to hear from you guys soon. Thank you beforehand.

I also have a problem downloading from fsdndm.fileserve.com,but today for some reason jdownloader keeps downloading file even though I cannot download file using firefox and it keeps downloading even after the file should be completed.
And I tried downloading and stopping downolad after maybe 2 MB but after resuming it always shows that it downloaded over 100 MB http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/33927 Last edited by d3v4st4t3; 30.03.2011 at 23:49. |

When I try to download a file from fileserve it changes the size of the download. For example:
Example.001 = 200MB +Changes To+ Example.001 = 2.00GB It just started happening just recently so I thought I'd let you know of it if you haven't already noticed. ============ Was able to get past it by resetting the file that size had changed a couple of times. Still does it every now and again. So if you have this issue try doing that. Last edited by Jiaz; 31.03.2011 at 10:39. |
