Derzeit ist es viel Aufwand für _nichts_ daher würde ich auch nichts ändern.

Thanks, works perfectly!

The big files (40+ mbits h264, how about some better codecs lol) were hard/impossible to grab with some browser extensions and scripts, much easier to do it with jdl.

Ich hatte das so verstanden, daß das jeweils euer Plugin ermöglicht. Über euer youtube-Plugin kann man auch zwischen verschiedenen Auflösungen und fps wählen, was super ist. Bei vk.com geht das nicht, da wird über euer Plugin lediglich die Auflösung von 360, 480, 720, 1080 (ohne jeweilige fps-Angaben) im jdownloader als Option angeboten.

Ich dachte bisher, daß man die fps erst auswählen kann, wenn das euer Plugin möglich macht. Ist das nicht so und liegt eher an der entsprechenden Webseite? Sprich, daß man bei youtube zwischen 60/30oder 25 fps auswählen kann, liegt an youtube?

Ja, hier sind Videos in unterschiedlichen Auflösungen/Codecs..usw verfügbar und das wurde entsprechend ins Plugin und die Einstellungen eingebaut. Ich sehe für VK nicht den Vorteil hier jetzt ähnlich viel Aufwand/Zeit zu investieren, nur damit man dann zb 60fps Videos blockieren kann und entsprechend zb nur niedrigere Auflösungen sieht, da die höheren dann 60 fps sind, oder andersrum. Es macht in meinen Augen nur groß Sinn wenn es das gleiche Video gleichzeitig als 30 und 60fps gibt, sodass eine Auswahl auch wirklich lohnt

@Racefan-24: Es bedarf halt viel Zeit/Umbau in einem Plugin entsprechende Einstellungen einzubauen und je mehr Optionen /zb Auflösungen (Gut/Beste...)Codecs/Framerates, desto komplexer die Entwicklung und Wartung des Plugins. Daher verzichten wir oftmals auf komplexe Einstellungsmöglichkeiten und versuchen uns auf *einfache* Auflösungen und Beste XY Einstellungen zu beschränken.

@Red-Cipher: JDownloader currently does only support progressive stream download from vk.com, meaning it just downloads the file as it is on vk.com. the other format is either downloading dash/split stream and mux into mkv or transcode mp4 into mkv. you can make use ffmpeg and eventscripter to transcode into mkv after download, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525
