by the way, as some other ppl said earlier, you can download all youtube resolutions using flashgot plugin for firefox
(Flashgot V. 1.5.5.94)... ^^

(EDIT: seems like flashgot started failing now, dunno really)

Question Youtube plugin missing
Hi,
Not able to download youtube video
it seems that youtube is not even showing up in the plugins section
can someone help

I totally uninstall and re-install jdownloader and update plugins but same thing

i have on jd1 request "username basic auth" and "password basicauth" when when I try to download videos from youtube

There is no fix yet.
Just wait or use JD2 BETA or use other tools for downloading youtube videos!

the YouTube download problem does not appear to be limited to JDwonloader only.

there other other YouTube download apps and websites that also stopped working.

What exactly did YouTube change to cause this? Did they do it to prevent people from
downloading/saving videos?

No, they simply changed their streaming technique.
It's all explained in the message you get inside JD.
Search for "DASH" streaming and YOUTUBE

Default Jdownloader can't download youtub any kind of file or playlist.
I have updated the Jdownloader & java. But it doesn't working with youtube. Before update I have downloaded many playlist from youtube. It can't grab any kind of file or playlist of youtube. But I badly need to download. Plz tell me solution.

Default Jdownloader can't upload any youtube url
I hope that someone's fixing this problem, because it occured to me just a week a go when my jd stopped recognizing ANY youtube url, and know i can't download anything from youtube.

I also hoep that someone has a solution for this problem, because there weren't any new updates for over two weeks.

Please help, anybody...

There are other programms to download from youtube as well. Consider using them as long as JD doesn't work properly!
