Default Use Quarkus for faster App-Startup

Hi Guys,

the most annoying thing of jdownloader2 is the startup time.
I think it is a java application.
There is this "new" framework called quarkus, which allows to compile java code to binary code for a target system (mac, windows, linux).
This code seems to be very performant and fast on startup.

Maybe you could increase your startup time on that way without using a smarter language than Java :p

Hi TiTan,

please add some information regarding your OS, hardware etc.
My Stable JD needs about 7,5 seconds to startup and this is running on old hardware - others of our team have a startup time of ~4 seconds.

Hi,

my hardware should good enough.
Maybe we have different requirements.

I want to have a startup time between 1 and 3 seconds.
Jdownloader2 needs ~7 seconds if these update window doesn't appear.

My outlook for example needs 3 seconds...

Hardware:
