Default Mirror detection issue once more.

Dear Developers,

I have seen that previously some mirror detection issue threads were opened and closed. But problem still exists.

JD checks the links below as mirror but they are not.
JD says filesizes are equal but actually they are not.
My settings; mirror check is done for filesize and filename. And auto rename is enabled. In order to download all videos, I have to force mirror marked files one by one.

Here are the links:

I think adding an option to disable mirror detection completely is the best solution.

Thanks

Nope as this would only be a cheap workaround for the obvious "rename existing files" bug.

JD does NOT say that filesize equals for me.
The screenshot shows what jd does in my case for "mirror check is done for filesize and filename. And auto rename is enabled."

This seems to be correct. Please provide a log.

When I disable fast crawling for youtube, filesizes are checked correctly. When fast crawling is enabled JD says files are mirror. Now I'm using youtube plugin as fast crawling disabled.

@Kino
can you give more feedback

like your 'customised filename' usage

I assume auto rename enabled = if file exists rule?

I was checking my previous messages. I have seen that this thread is still shown as "user feedback required". Actually everything is OK about this issue. May be we should set it "solved". Sorry for very late response.
