Default Rapidshare aborted at 99.99%

I was really pissed off when this RS download had got to within a few seconds of completion, 99.36 MB of 99.37, when it aborted for no reason I can tell.

It had completed 15 similar parts just before that. On reconnection it got the "too many users" message for a couple of minutes, but then restarted the download.... how tedious.

So was it just Rapidshare pulling the plug too early, or what?

Also, regarding the message "ABBORTED BY USER"
1) Should be spelled "ABORTED"
2) How is it "aborted by the user" anyway? It is the host that cut off.

After this abort it retried and finally got it complete.

Cool

I see (but I'm a simple customer) that you've "ERROR_TIMEOUT_REACHED" and "FILESIZECHECK errors in your log. They are related to connection problems. Are you running a BitTorrent client?

You might also be using too many chunks. Please reduce Max.Con. to 1 or 2. Also limit your number of simultaneous downloads (Max.Dls.).

No BT.
And my other settings have not changed for months.
Max Con is 1
Max Dls is 4.

You can't use more than 1 chunk with RS as a free user anyway.

"FILESIZECHECK" I think must come up after the download has stopped and JD finds that it isn't actually complete.

If it was a "connection problem" from some other application, it is a pretty amazing coincidence that it happens when JD is at the same 99.99% of its download several times.

So I'm pretty sure it's a problem between RS and JD, JD is somehow getting the idea that the download has finished when it hasn't really. Perhaps the last segment of the file has an error and JD is unable to get it resent because it's already broken off.

Most RS downloads work but these "99.99%" aborts are really infuriating, wasting the maximum amount of time and bandwidth for nothing.

Short 4670 bytes and the F***ING THING ABORTS!!!!!!
TWO HOURS DOWNLOAD TIME DOWN THE TOILET.

WHY?????

It's not just Rapidshare, I think the same thing happened with another host yesterday.

-- is 4670 bytes significant in any way? I think that some other aborts are about the same size, 4 kB short of the total.

PS: 90 minutes later, the retry is 100%.

Moved->Hoster-Plugins!

Some of the required information is missing.
Helping you is easier for us if you read the rules before posting and follow them so we have all information we need to help.
Information which could be missing are for example: Log & Example Links (the links you tried to download with JD).

Default Rapidshare plugin outdated

The new Rapidshare site causes a fatal error !

to fix it you have to go on your rapidshare account site and enable the option directdownloads

Ticket #2461:

As a workaround enable direct downloads on RS's website.

I think I have another solution/workaround.

Rapidshare activated SSL-encrypted downloads by DEFAULT, so just go to settings and deactivate SSL-encryption.

BTW encrypted DL's count double traffic. feeling kind of ripped off here.

Default cannot download from RS using premium account

My account is valid and has plenty of traffic left. I've used Jdownloader w/rapidshare for two years and never had any problems. Last night everything was working ok. This morning, only errors.

Java Version: 1.6.0_21
Jdownloader: -xmas- Version 0.9.580

This doesn't work! You'll waste your traffic, when you take direct dl. Every single got CRC errors... extracting by hand won't work either then.

Default help required - Unknown File Size and Fatal Errors

I've been using jdownloader for the best part of the past year, and it is a fantastic application.

just today its been giving me error messages when trying to add rapidshare links, it tells me unknown file size... and will not download anything.

I've checked the firewall and disabled AV but am still not getting anywhere, I've installed the most upto date version and still no luck...

its working with hotfile etc, albeit very slowly....

Default New Rapidshare Plugin Bug

Rapidshare changed to new look, that broke the old Rapidshare Plugin.

JDownloader Team worked as fast as they could and fixed the plugin.

Here's the bug i found out.

IF you had more than 2 Accounts Rapidshare, one of them ran out of bandwidth, so when you download a Rapidshare, JDownloader won't automatically skip ran-out-bandwidth Rapidshare account to use next Rapidshare Account.

It will be stucked and your Rapidshare link will be marked "X" with error "No traffic left" or maybe "Your Rapidpro is expired" even both of those premium Account are OK.

And in Premium Session, JDownloader does not display correct Expired Date (With Rapidshare, they are marked with UNLIMITED) and sometimes with incorrected Traffic Left.

Here's my log :

Sorry about my bad English.

Default rapidshare new plugin can not select mirror

the mirror selection options are removed from the new rapidshare plugin, will it be back?

the download speed from different mirrors can differ by a hundred fold here.

It will come back, but please choose your desired mirror at rapidshare.com

Default New error

Now I'm getting this error on three different groups of files:

Unexpected rangeheader format:null.

It's happening on four groups on files and all from Rapidshare.

What does it mean and what can I do to let those files finish downloading?

I would restart jD twice, because the RS plug-in has been updated.

I'm a premium RS user,
I've no FW nor AV running,
previously I had no trouble with RS ( some archives within that package were downloaded fine yesterday ),
my logfile is: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** (MD5: 0B09ECC55C7AC0FA46CE57C2B8448245

Same thing for me. Re-started JD twice, even rebooted the computer to see if anything changed. Same same.

Also put the JD and Java directories in Avast as exclusions. Nothing.
