Please help me copy the URLs or video IDs of many links at once, so that I can recrawl them. Maybe add a context menu option to copy their URLs instead of the channel URL. Or a context menu option to recrawl them.

Currently there is no "Retry" or "Recrawl" in the context menu of those links, and nowhere in the Menu Manager.

JD does not allow chunked downloads for YT downloads because this will just lead to Google banning your IP.

The YT plugin now natively allows you to add the same video multiple times for some special occasions:
- Same video single + in playlist context
- and/or same video in multiple playlists

This works from now on and without the need to change any dupe detection settings.

What still is not possible and will not be possible in the future either:
- Same video multiple times in the same playlist (I believe I saw this though maybe I'am wrong and YT doesn't even allow this)

This works, thank you! Maybe that menu option should be called "Reanalyze" or so. "Analyse and Add Links" sounds like it will open the dialog whose window title is "Analyse and Add Links" (the one that opens after clicking "Add New Links") rather than reanalyze the already analyzed links.

Mein Account habe ich gestern mit einem frischen Cookie versorgt und das Video hat keine Altersverifikation soweit ich es feststellen konnte. Auch andere Video Trailer mit Kinderfilmen welche definitiv keine Alterverifikation haben funktionieren nicht und werden als Offline angezeigt.
Gibt es hierzu eine Idee??

Ich habe aber meinen regulären Account, nur für einzelne Videos, die dieses benötigen aktiviert. Hier gibt es definitiv keinen Bann, Videos können also im Browser angeschaut werden, aber jDownloader erkennt diese trotzdem als Offline.
Ich werde es weiter beobachten, zur Zeit kann ich jDownloader auch irgendwie nicht Updaten, da sagt er immer dass er keine Verbindung zum Server herstellen kann.

That video has two subtitle tracks: "English (United Kingdom)" and "English (auto-generated)"

When I enter the link in Jdownloader2, it results in the video file and an SRT file for "English (United States) [Speech2Text]" which is the auto-generated subtitle.

For the YT plugin settings, I have Subtitles enabled for both Type and Filetype. One thing I noticed is that in the table of file variants, the only Subtitle file type listed there is SRT.

In the Variant Collections section, there is a collection called "Subtitles vtt Max Subtitles", but clicking on it just highlights the SRT variant in the table above it.

If I use yt-dlp, I can use the --write-subs option and that will correctly download the vtt subtitle file that is the "English (United Kingdom)" version of the subtitles, but this is cumbersome and I'd really like to get this working in JD2, if possible.

problem is that us is default (speech to text) and right now we don't have *sorting* to allow you to setup preferred type (original, auto translated, speech2text). You can either rightclick onto the subtitle and change its variant, or change it within the variant column within the table

i am moderately confused to report that i updated the program, changed literally nothing, retested it, and it seems to be working now.

problem solved i guess. thanks for uh... casting magic? do i owe you my name and my firstborn daughter now?

(god i really need to just take a week off from life and do some mass downloading before youtube explodes in my sleep or something. datahoarding truly is a digital disease.)

When I right click on the subtitle row in the variant table, I only get options for Add a link collection, Enable, and Disable. Am I doing this in the wrong spot?

Jetzt bekam ich heute auch Numberphile, normal in Englisch, in Französisch.

When I tried to download this file it acts in a way I've never experienced before: the link grabber popup shows, but it doesn't add anything into the link grabber to download, except for a jpg preview. I think the issue is that youtube/google is asking me to verify my age when I use my account. Here is my log:

Ich bin nicht Skeeve, möchte aber noch einmal Beispiellinks geben und auf eine Eigenart hinweisen: gestern Abend und auch momentan werden die Videos mit einer englischen ai-Synchronspur heruntergeladen. Letzte Nacht wurden dieselben Videos aber mit der korrekten deutschen Originalspur heruntergeladen:

Auch NewPipe spielt die ai-Tonspur ab. Vielleicht hilft das weiter.

Denke schon, oder hat Numberphile seine Videos immer in alle Sprachen übersetzt gehabt, welche auch zufällig von der AI unterstütz werden ? und von der Sprachqualität würde ich ebenfalls auf die YT AI tippen

bei den Varianten suche ich mir de-de aus, die ohne Beschriftung sind die AI tracks. hatte gestern couriousmark mit französischer AI... Dort war en-en richtig.
