I had this problem initially and was given a cure, but that no longer works :-(

I have a fully patched WinXP system, with lots of power, memory and disk space. When JD works, it is very good, except that Firefox integration does not work, the icon is in the context menu but it does nothing. I have premium accounts with Rapidshare and Depositfiles which work fine.

But, soon after I installed JD I ran out of disk space, now fixed, JD locked up and when reinstalled no text was displayed in its windows. Uninstalled Java, latest version, deleted JD, rebooted, reinstalled Java then JD and everything worked ok for a while.

Then JD froze again. whent through the above routine again, twice. JD will start but there is no text in its windows, so I can't do anything with it excapt kill it with TaskManager.

Can you help me please as this is the best product I have found and would like to be able to continue using it.

How do I create a log file please - there is no text in the windows so how do I do it ?

normally this is the way to create a log ; http://jdownloader.org/knowledge/wik...d-log?s=lng_en but in ur case I really dont know what to do . The devs might have a solution.

strart it from the terminal/console/command window, witz the -debug option
