so is everyone having problems with the link grabber showing offline for youtube videos with version 0.9.581???? or is it just me? its the same on my laptop and my desktop so I assume its not just me since both my computers and 0.9.581 worked fine on each of them the other day and the next day both show offline in the link grabber for youtube videos. does this have to do with youtube going to html5 over flash or something? is there anyway I can fix this?

I am also having issues with the YouTube plugin on Jdownloader 2 beta. Before, I could paste a link and it would give me the option to download the video, the audio, and thumbnail. Now, it only let's me download a thumbnail. It did this for every video I tried. Does youtube moving to HTML5 only have anything to do with this? Jdownloader is crucial to my workflow because it's the only program I've found that's able to download 60fps videos.

normalerweise findet der JDownloader 2 wenn ich einen Youtube Link eingebe ja immer sämtliche Datein. Seit heute aber findet er nur noch eine Bilddatei. Hoffe mir kann irgendwer helfen und erklären woran das liegt.

Edit: Im Ansichtenfeld ist kein Harken bei Datein, sodass mir alle Dateitypen angezeigt werden.

I tried JD2 and I dont like it, prefer to stick with 0.9.581 as its simpler and what I am used to using

we wont be maintaining stable youtube plugin, you will need to use JDownloader 2.0 going forward for this host.

@raztoki Good news, apparently there was a jdownloader update (the update server was not functioning earlier), and it fixed my problem

Is there a way to stream youtube videos in Jdownloader 2? That was the major advantage of using Jdownloader 1 for me. Incomplete JD2 files play video, but not audio.

with DASH Videos it wouldn't be easy but not impossible. Otherwise you can disable dash videos and grab all in one, just be aware that higher resolution are only available with DASH now days.

I have the same problems as you. No matter which YouTube video I try all are shown offline. Even those I downloaded succesfully yesterday.

I was wondering the same since another programm I use to grab things does not recognize them either (HiDownload).

Hello,

I am no longer able to download subtitles from Youtube. I tried with 2 PC. I download subtitles daily with JD 2. Today, they don't work any more. I tried with other alternative with success.

All good things come to an end, I really do not like JD2 and since the older version will not work with youtube anymore I guess its time for me to move on completely from JD completely and find an alternative program for my needs.
