@ tommik
What does production have to do with a marketplace where at least 50% of potential customers no longer present potential due to their financial constraints?

Don't get me wrong, I am not advocating piracy for one moment. I'm merely pointing out why so many people are drawn towards file sharing. If that option is taken away from them they won't go back to buying because they can't.

A decade ago many people had jobs with a salary that left them some disposable income. Today, most are struggling to survive. If you think that is nonsense, ask yourself why every country is suffering from the effects of recession?

Default Reporter looking to talk to HK residents about Megauploader

Hi everyone -

I'm a Hong Kong-based reporter for USA TODAY - the largest print newspaper in the U.S. - and I'm looking to talk to some Hong Kong netizens today or tomorrow about Megauploader.

I know Megauploader has not been available in Hong Kong since 2009. I wanted to talk to one or two Hong Kong residents about how they feel about it not being available and what they think about the actions being taken against Megauploader by authorities. It should just take a few minutes.

If anyone is interested and willing, can you please email me their contact details ASAP at kchu@usatoday.com?

Thank you in advance,

Kathy Chu
