Ever since I can remember, jDownloader incorrectly handles "double click & hold" with left mouse button on text. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just double click here with a left mouse button, but on second click you hold down the mouse button and move your mouse. This way, you will select whole words at once. It works like that pretty much everywhere in browsers, text editors (there's even a triple click & hold for selecting whole lines), etc, except jDownloader. Try doing that in "Package name" field or any other text field. It will select only one word, but when you move mouse it will behave like with "one click & hold". It annoyed me for many years, but decided to report it to you so you can fix it. It's also the same when you click on currently selected package's name to rename it (and it also shows another bug with weird mouse cursor).

@zdzichu476: to be honest, never heard of this feature before and never used it before but thanks to your explanation I tried and now understand how it works and what it does.
I check check if java does support that and if so, why it doesn't work or how this could be added but to be honest, this is very low priority for me that is a nice gui/user experience gimmick but nothing *that* important.

That's a redrawing issue in Java as the column is in edit mode and the underlying theme redraws the mouse, then the edit icon, then mouse cursor and so on. Issue doesn't happen for me with non Synthetica theme. On long term we're moving away from Synthetica to FlatLAF for better HighDPI support and better/easier theme support, so not going to work on this.
