Default Jdownloader not splitting Ddownload into chunks

I just got a subscription to ddownload, it is downloading fine but Jdownloader is not splitting the download into 5 chucks as in my settings, it is using only 1, any reason why is it doing that? I also use Rapidgator and Real debrid and the files from them are splitting ok.

Thanks

@ukbirdflu: plugin is limited to 1 chunk/connection as we've been asked for this by ddownload admin. under normal situation more connections doesn't provide better speed but causes more load on the servers. personally I always have max connections set to 1 as I never felt need fore more or did notice any noticable speed difference. if you want this limit to be lifted, please contact ddownload support so they can inform us about current/new max upper limit for connections.

Thank you for your quick reply and information, I will go with what you think its the best. The unusual thing is when I download ddownload links, going through Real Debrid, it will download using as many chunks as I specified in the JD settings, only when I use ddownload directly, it will revert to 1 chunk

@ukbirdflu: yes, because what real-debrid does is not in our hands but in this case we've been asked for the change by ddownload directly. Multihoster often *cache* the file themselves to *save account traffic* and therefore the actual chunks on the final server can be different than your connections to multihoster.
